bloodmonkey has dubbed it: Day Drunk Day! Hung out with the aforementioned and other cool people as well, including some friends I hadn't seen in at least a year, so I'm very happy I went out. I probably wouldn't have gone if I'd known what day it was. Me and crowds are unmix-y things, so I tend to skip the mobs. Thankfully, I managed to avoid the rush on the T. And since I was well on my way to intoxicated by six p.m. I didn't even break the sacred rules of Day Drunk Day.
+I hear there's a new Pope, huh? I'm somewhat surprised by how little I've managed to catch of the whole Pope thing. My parents must be reaching my own level of "lapsed". ::smirk:: Either that or they finally realized that, aside from occasionally plotting ways to get excommunicated (my favorite one involves going to mass and a quote from The Simpsons), the Catholic Church has been completely banished from my life. I think I could even wear a plaid skirt without cringing now. Go me!

I made one other, but I draw the line at three icons per fandom (at least until I cave and buy some more icon slots *g*) so if anyone wants; take; have.
