The bottle of Shiraz and I had a wonderful holiday together.
I didn't even have a hangover, which is amazing, since red wine has a tendency to kill me very, very, dead.
I didn't watch any of the TV specials. Instead, I watched some of my favorite episodes from all my shows, some Nsync footage, and read tons of fic. (Very, very slowly going through the DWNOGA stories, I want them to last me until the new year. ::grin::)
I keep discovering nifty software that came with my computer, which is a good. Unfortunately, most of it is of the "here's a sample now give us some money if you want the rest" kind. I might have to go for the full version of one of the DVD players. I'd love to be able to make some caps.
Now, I'm back at work. I hate that I had to come in today. The train ride in was so empty, it made me even more aware of the fact that most people have the day off. Plus, a kind soul gave me the first season of Smallville for Christmas. I think my day would better be spent watching Clark and Lex flirt.
However, when I get out of work today, I'll be heading off for a little post-holiday shopping. I need a new bag, ASAP. I hate to give up my little sling bag, but I think the time has come to put it to rest. So, I'm going to swing by the Army surplus store, in hope of finding a suitable replacement.
