Dreamt of being in Puerto Rico for the first time since I moved to Boston about a decade ago. I was in high school, and my friends and I had decided to cut the last two classes of the day and head down to beach.

I standing on the beach with warm water burying my toes in the sand. The sun was bright and hot on the back of my neck and there was this wonderful breeze blowing in from the ocean.

I was somewhat unhappy to be woken up by the alarm this morning. /understatement

I did somehow manage to walk to the T and get to work, but I'm still thinking of warm places. I'd like to see if I can at least manage a weekend in New Orleans sometime before end of March. Mmmm, chicory coffee and beignets on an outdoor cafe, and free-flowing alcoholic concoctions with lots of pineapple juice and coconut rum. Sounds blissful.

On fannish news, I watched The OC last night. I still find the boys charming, but Marissa continues to get on my very last nerve. Summer and Anna, on the other hand, are simply marvelous in every scene they have together and are rapidly reaching OTP status. They'd just be so snarky and snarly together. Yum.

My horoscope for today(from Astrocenter.com):

...Connect with nature today and spend some time with animals if you can. Take deep breathes in fresh outdoor air and enjoy a long walk somewhere special with a close friend.

Yeah, that's right. Commune with nature, go for a walk, take deep breaths of the 1 degree with wind chill air outside.

Now I understand why horoscopes get listed under entertainment. LOL

I still have another half and hour or so to go before I can head home and I'm bored out of my skull. I also have this vaguely contented feeling with no particular source that I can discern. Most likely it's due to the drugs. LOL

Trying to figure out what to do once I get home, since I'm feeling somewhat spazztastic and I don't think anything will hold my attention for very long. I suppose I could watch some supposedly must-see tv, but I'm not really in the mood for sitcoms.

Maybe I'll just make myself a couple of mixes. I'm very pleased with the last one I burned, which is just long enough to take me through the commute to and from work. The on-the-way-to-work part of it is really angry and fast and somewhat disdainful of all things capitalist, which amuses me. The on-the-way-home part, on the other hand, is all about sex, which also amuses me.

Mental note: As soon as I have enough money for postage (hehe), I should join [livejournal.com profile] burn_it.

ETA: 200th entry? I've only had this thing for a handful of months! Must. stop. spamming. LOL
