week 2

Training at new job continues. Right now I'm utilizing my lunch break to update the el-jay while listening for Ryan Adams on my 'puter. Oh, yeah. The joys of employment at a place that has purchased computer equipment sometime in the 21st century. *g*

The weekend was eventful. I hauled my hibernating self out to Foxwoods with a friend, and proceeded to flirt with and charm every guy in my path. Five men, many more drinks than that, no phone numbers exchanged, and everyone just happy to have my company. That my idea of the perfect night out. Sweetest words of the night go to guy that I sat down with because he had two drinks in front of him and seemed a little glum (turns out his girl had stood him up), when he said that even if he never saw me again, he wanted me to know that I had turned his night around and made being stood up not be a bad thing. So cool. I was all about sharing my good mood, so that made my night.

Now I'm back at work, which is going slowly enough to drive me insane, but I have a much better idea of what my job entails now, and it is totally doable. Not too mention a million times better than the bridal desk of doom (tm). LOL
