For those that didn't catch the phone post, my computer passed away last night. After about a year of struggling following an unfortunate beer-spill incident, which left the poor thing connected to a life-support system made up of nearly every other computer I've ever owned, and earned it the nickname "Frankenstein", my baby has given up the ghost.
I get out of work early today, due to the office holiday party. Yay? I would much rather just head straight off to buy a new computer, but I've been coerced into putting in an appearance. (Or rather, they told me there'd be free drinks ::snerk::). So I'll be here until 11:30 am, swing by to pick up and cash my check, go to the party, and then go buy a new computer before heading home.
In spite of the tragedy, I remain on cloud nine. JC's this Saturday. This one. As in tomorrow! I'm so excited I'm beginning to embarrass myself.
