1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
I moved into an apartment all by myself.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I kept most of them. Of course, my resolutions ran to things such as "use the word 'cocksicle' more often in everyday conversation". Heehee.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries did you visit?
None whatsoever. ::sigh::

6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Sex. Lots of it.

7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
November 9th. Alycyn and Nate got married. That was awesome.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting off my ass about some personal issues I hadn't dealt with even though I knew I should. Going to school and actually enjoying plugging away at the degree for the first time in years.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Still don't have a permanent job.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No on the injuries, yes on the illness.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My computer, definitely. Also, some very kicky new shoes.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My friends' and my parents'. Everyone in my life was really amazing this year.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The nation's as a whole. Bush's in particular. Jingoism and warmongering are not my things.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent. As usual. Alcohol might be creeping up on that, though.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Things I never would have guessed a year ago. Pop music, classes, weddings... (not my own, though!)

16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
'Cry Me A River' Yep. This will be the year I succumbed to the Timberlake in my mind.

Drugs!

Moping.

Not really.

'Hitchhiker's Guide' series, again.

Nsync, JT, Xtina, JC, H2SO4, The Hives... I had a good year for new music.

28. What did you want and get?
A light at the end of the tunnel.

The effin' degree.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
'Return of the King'

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 27. I recovered from the wedding. Had a drink at 'The Pig' with some friends.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Finishing the effin' degree. (Next year, definitely!)

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
I dressed like a gay boi. I think I have some slightly genderfucked version of metrosexuality going on lately. ::grin::

34. What kept you sane?
Prozac. LJ.

Xtina. (Specially her new belly, yum.)

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
None. I don't think I could afford to care this year.

Alana!!!! Victoria!!!! Scott!!!! Alycyn!!!! Nate!!!!
Seriously, now. All my friends have got to stop this moving away crap.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Ohhh, so many. But in person, I'd say meeting [livejournal.com profile] jennytsk made my year. A real life slasher! I was beginning to think they only existed online. ::snerk::
The fact that she's a sweetheart is icing.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003
Good and bad things happen to those who wander out in the world. Both are better than being bored.
