I'd forgotten how weirdly stressful IRC channels can be. There are all these people gabbing away in separate conversations, all seeming occurring at the same time and joining in can be so... strange when you don't really know who it is you're talking (typing) to.

I've never been so grateful for LJ's buffer zone.

I pretty much assume that anyone who bothers to read my blather has read at least an entry or two without finding something completely objectionable.

Just so this entry isn't only navel-gazing; here's a CD rec: Dreamworld- A really great mix of acid jazz, trip-hop and dance. My favorite eletronica compilation, actually.
