Uncanny X-Men (the original mid-sixties comic series). Oh, boy; this is seriously relevant reading.
There's a certain kitsch-y ness to the issues (graphics-wise), but it never gets in the way of the overall message of tolerance and acceptance of that which is different. I'm suddenly feeling very thankful for the chance to read these.
(Tackled issues 1-27 tonight; hoping to get up to the hundreds tomorrow... good stuff is waiting!)
