JC is doing this thing on Block Island on Monday. I think I might try to go. I'm utterly insane. I'd have to get up at an inhuman time to get to the T, go downtown, catch the Commuter Rail to Rhode Island, get a bus to the ferry terminal, and then take the ferry to Block Island. That's about four hours on public transportation across two states. And then the same to get back home, if I manage to catch everything on time and don't get stuck in Rhode Island overnight with no money and nowhere to go. Argh!

But, but... I wanna go!

It's a free JC show, after all. The place-you-have-to-reach-by-plane-or-boat part of it really appeals as well. I miss the ocean. I don't live all that far from it, but I haven't been surrounded by water in far too long for an island girl. Lacking the funds for a more thorough getaway, I think this would do nicely.

Still... utterly insane. The Chasez should come with a warning.

This entry was sponsored by the letters G I P. HP is making me lust for icon space, since I also made another Harry icon, and a Snape icon that I'm dying to put into service. But this one won out, because it's so storybook-like. PoA was so beautifully shot. Credit and gratefulness go to [livejournal.com profile] teh_indy for the gorgeous and plentiful PoA caps.
