Item the first: New LJ layout. The half-nekkid boys held reign for a very long time, but I missed my girls. The style is 'Flexible Squares' which rocks like a rocking thing that rocks! It's so customizable (is that a word?). I think I'm in love. I made the background from a really, really old SMG shoot for Nylon magazine. It's one of my favorite pictures of her. Actually, when I first got my LJ the very first icon I made was of this picture. Aaaw.

Item the second: I bought shoes! Exciting to no one but me, I'm sure but: Shoes! They're mary jane wedges, which is amusing my mother to no end, since for many, many years of catholic school uniforms I categorically refused to wear mary janes. It was loafers or nothing. Hee. Found a pic of the style but not the color (note to self: get digital camera), so just imagine them in black:
Item the third: The 11-hour-workdays have come in check form at last, so I shall be cutting my hair. I'd love to think that I'll go for something new and exciting, but really, with hair as curly as mine, that only leads to Chia!Head catastrophe, so most likely, it'll be the same old, same old. Meh.

2. I didn't. It still disappears into the bun. The twit who cut it gave me LAYERS!!!, though. Very much not pleased. Oh, well. At least she didn't make it too short.
3. That alone makes me want to change it again to something even gayer and pornier! Hee. But SMG is sooo pretty in that pic. Sigh.
