Went to the Warped tour today. Much fun was had, although the traffic on the way to the concert sucked. Not because it was there, but rather because of the reason it was there.
It seems that the town of Randolph, Mass. decided it didn't want any of us miscreants driving through their town, so they closed the exits off the highway - as well as the most direct route to the location of the concert, of course. :P
Oh, well. The shows were good. I missed most of Andrew W.K., but I got to see Dropkick Murphys (they were great, their fans not so much), The Suicide Machines (must get new CD), Rancid (rocked, just rocked!) and my favorite punk cover band of all time, as well as the only one I know, Me First and The Gimme Gimmes (so freakin' funny).
Now I'm tanned and tired, so off to bed I go.
ETA: Forgot the funny! Best sightings of the day:
--Guy with a 6-inch-high purple mohawk wearing a NKOTB t-shirt.
--Sign by the entrance counting the number of CB GB t-shirts sighted. LOL!
