I'm 29 now. Also, not freaked.

After the OMFG-I'm-twenty-five!How-did-a-whole-quarter-of-a-century-go-by-so-fast! freak-out, I thought I would be. Apparently, I'm done with age-related meltdowns for a while. Which is of the good, because that last one made me feel awfully silly.

So the day was spent (not chained to the bridal desk o' doom, thankfully), in my customary birthday fashion... which is doing what ever the hell I feel like doing whenever the hell I feel like doing it. Hee. I'm all for self-indulgence anyway, but I feel *justified* on my birthday. *g*

I revisited most of my favorite fics in all my fandoms (chronologically, no less), watched Batman Begins, went out for a nice ramble around Harvard Sq., and I'm now drinking (good!)Champagne.

So, yay for celebrating being born. My life and I may not always get along, but I do love the little bitch to pieces. *g*

Oooh, I also finally found this song: Pigface - SickAspFuck (Michael Lawder Remix) which those of you in the area that remember Ceremony at The Spot know as that song that Nate used to play every night. So, have a d/l. Also if you are at all inclined to the industrial (or just fun 'n twisted) you should give it a go.

So, Happy Birthday to you. Yay indeed.

Now, with the song, which I am curiously downloading, which is the artist and which is the song title? Or will I work that out from context when I listen?

Thanks!

The artist is Pigface. Made immortal in my mind by the catchy logo they once had on a sticker: Find it. Fuck it. Forget it. (I always thought Faith would have been a fan. LOL)

The song shows up in a lot of their records, either as "Sick Asp Fuck" or "SickAspFuck" (both include samples their own "Fuck It Up", hence much confusion), but this particular mix was played at my local goth/rivethead night for many years, so I thought I should throw that in.

It's a good stomper. *g*

Congratulations! And happy birthday. After seeing my boyfriend go through the oh-my-god-I'm-25! freakout, I also had the pleasure of watching the oh-my-god-I'm-26! freakout, and next May I expect to see the oh-holy-mother-of-god-I'm-27! freakout. I think it's awesome to be comfortable with where you are -- and, honestly, I can see why you are, because you seem to lead a pretty sweet life. I wish you many more bottles of good champagne.
