Ok, staying sane is all about the little joys, right?
First up: the fruity-oaty bar song from Serenity because when it comes up on my random play it makes me ridiculously happy. Also, The Modern Lovers letting you know that Pablo Picasso was never called an asshole. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. *g*
In non-musical news it turns out that purple eyeliner does actually make brown eyes look brown-er! My eyes have always looked black unless someone is shining a flashlight directly into them (I have really dark brown eyes with a ring of black rimming the iris, so...) but, I put on a very thin line of the violet stuff and suddenly, my eyes have that whole chocolate-ly thing happening. Coolness.
Oh, yeah. I meant to justify the utter puff cream-i-ness of this entry somehow, but I'll just seal it up with a quotation from the best young adult novel ever Looks Aren't Everything by J.D. Landis:
"Life is short, Jeanie; and short means shallow."
That and "Remember me" by Christopher Pike are the only two teen books that I still re-read on a regular basis. Heh.
