There was a meeting, and talk of new responsibilities, and then another meeting, and...
All that work I thought I would have to do more or less this week; I have to do it over the next couple of months!
It looks like I'll have plenty of time to write in here after all. ::sigh::
I can't believe I'm complaining about lacking work, but seriously, all this staring at the walls is driving me crazy.

seperis in AIM yesterday, so I now have to write Brian/Ethan. Good Brian/Ethan, no less. It's a challenge now.
Although I think I might be able to make it work if I can give Ethan some backstory beyond poor and talented. His former boyfriend was a Brianesque slut, right? Or so he claimed.
This is my problem with trying to get inside Ethan's head. I trust nothing of what he said on the show. I don't think I ever really bought into how he presented himself, and, frankly, I blame the writers. I know they basically threw this boy into the mix to give Justin an attractive option outside of Brian, but could they not have spared a scene or two where we got some notion of him as anything other than the anti-Brian?
I feel like they didn't even bother to make him a real character, just set him up as a foil, and then went: "But, see, he's actually worse than Brian. He's a hypocrite!" If anyone has any thoughts about Ethan, I'd appreciate them. Or point me to someone's LJ if you know of one. I know Hth liked him, but I'm clueless as to her username.
Ok, that went on much longer than I thought it would. ::laughs:: It appears I have Ethan issues. Maybe I need to watch the second and third seasons again. Yay, marathon!
