My shows are back!
::taking a moment to marvel at just how happy this makes me::
Ok, I'm done now.
'Smallville' was fantastic and, I thought, a solid follow-up to the explosive episode that preceded it. The pace and the tension did slacken off whenever Lana came on screen, but I think I've gotten used to that now. As I have to the writers occasionally taking a fairly obvious way out of whatever corner they've painted themselves into that week. In spite of that, I thought the episode had enough style and pathos to keep it afloat.
I have no qualifiers when it comes to the 'Angel' episode. I just adored every second of it. Harm was fantastic. I loved the drone's-eye-view of the bosses, and I may have injured myself laughing. This show had exactly the kind of dark humor that the series had been missing while Joss was away, and, in the end, I was glad that 'The OC' didn't seduce me away.
What I caught of 'The OC' during commercials, however, was very good. Summer is so my sekrit girlfriend (possibly in a completely ludicrous crossover orgy along with Harm, Faith, and Xtina, mmmm... Ok, I'm back! LOL). I really need to find someone to tape this for me. Of course, there's always reruns over the summer, when there won't be nearly as much tv for me to watch, so I guess I can wait.
However, if Seth and Ryan run off to get married, I expect to get the heads up!
