I downloaded the last episode of 'The OC' on bit torrent without much fuss, so I don't think I'll need anyone to tape this for me. Yay!
Of course, I wanted to watch the episode instead of coming to work this morning, but I was strong and determined... and now I'm frozen solid. ::shiver::
It's about 20 below with wind chill today in Boston, and I cannot believe I have to walk to get my check. If this little errand didn't involve, well, my check, I would soo be blowing it off.
Then there's the unending joy which is the workhell. The main system is still down so my choices are: a) Stare at the walls of my cubichell. b) Sort mail in hopes that being braindead will make the day go by faster.
I don't think I'm cut out for this being-a-productive-member-of-society shtick. I must find a sugar daddy or mommy and be decorative for the rest of my life.

3) Name a fic that particularly appeals to you and that you think other fen should know about. Not slashy, but one of my favorite Buffy fics: Dreamsmith's A Thing of Terrible Beauty. Life in the body of a Slayer has never been portrayed quite this way. (WIP warning)
4) Name an author that you really like and would like to promote. Check the flist, pick a name.
5) Name a zine or website that has really good fic in it. Website... Fluent Fag, the 'Bring It On' slash fanfiction archive. There's a lot of great stories there. Also, Walk Of Shame, the 'Sorority Boys' fanfiction archive. "Yay for genderfucks!", I say.
Ok, I'm off to pick up my check. If you don't ever hear from me again, you may assume that I'm now a funny-looking block of ice somewhere in Boston's financial district.
