Geez, I always hated this part at school, camp, work, assorted other places where they make you introduce yourself...
Since I'm not entirely sure what the protocol is for friending people whose journals you read, but with whom you haven't had any other contact; I thought a brief explanation was in order.
It's pretty simple, actually. I love fanfic. Particularly (and lately almost exclusively... huh) slash. So if you've found your way here, chances are I love your stories.
Eventually, I plan to go through that friends list and post some public love, which will no doubt include some weeks, months, years of pent-up gushing, since I kinda suck at the feedback thing. Therefore, LJ!

You can friend anyone you'd like to, it's not necessary to have permission.
You can drop a comment to them, just to wave and say hello if you want, but it's not considered a slight if you don't. Most people love new journal friends; they'll be happy you found their journal and enjoy it.
