I've been putting this song into every single mix I've made over the past couple of months and, even though I know the lyrics are by Basement Jaxx and JC just sang them, I can not help but see little bunnies nibbling at my feet whenever I hear it.
It just seems to me that if JC, for example, wanted to tell Justin to stop whining about the Britney debacle, he really could not have chosen (and possibly come up with *smirk*) better lyrics than: "'cause I see you sitting in the rain,/ with the tears running, running down your face/ can't you see it's a masquerade/ so get yourself together".
And now there's evil fic thoughts in my head, and I'm not good enough a writer to do them justice.
I do however have a tendency toward really vivid, lucid dreaming, so... Oh, yeah. Looking forward to going to bed tonight.
