+ With all the porn I download, you'd think there'd be no way for me to get bored, huh?

I'm overly caffeinated and in need of a nice long ramble through the city, but it's raining far too hard for me to leave the apartment right now. I almost went for my walk anyway but, just at the door, I got a really strong sense memory of what my shoes feel like when water-logged and squelchy. Ugh. Yep, I think I'll be an indoor kitty for the time being.

+ Since this entry is utterly pointless, anyway, I'll bitch about the dream I had last night.

I was watching tv and the MTV VMA's were coming up in a few weeks. There was a commercial for them and JC was listed as one of the performers. I remember feeling all pissy that he'd probably be singing "Build My World" when I wanted "All Day Long" as the next single. Then, there was some thing at the end of the commercial where they said that he'd be performing a brand new song and that you could preview the video online. So, I went off to my computer to listen to this new song. It totally and utterly rocked. I remember being completely blown away and loving the song (which sounded like a cross between "If You Were My Girl" and "Imitation Leather Jacket" by H2SO4, btw). Here's the thing that pisses me off:

I can't remember the song!

I can almost hear little snatches of it if I concentrate. I woke up humming the damn thing. But I can't remember anything concrete about it. This happens to me all. the. time. My brain comes up with all kinds of nifty things when I'm unconscious and then refuses to give 'em up once I'm awake. So far, there's been a lot of songs, most of them soundtrack to whatever messed up dream I was having, and THE POEM. Which is in caps for a reason. It was perfect, and it was mine, and in the dream all the words became visible as I spoke them.... and then I woke up and I had nothing. Zero. Nada. Which, ok, puts me in good company and all, but it's still incredibly frustrating.
